    Brief biography

    Liu Yuanda: He is a Senior Scientist affiliated with IMRE at A*STAR, Singapore. His research encompasses a range of areas, including:

    • Semiconductor Device Physics
    • Quantum light-matter interaction
    • Nanofabrication
    • 2D materials

    • May 19, 2024: Happy to be the sesseion chair in IUMRS-ICEM 2024, Hong Kong.
    • May 08, 2024: New paper entitled 'Linear electro-optic effect in 2D ferroelectric for electrically tunable metalens' was accepted by Advanced Materials.
    • Apr 01, 2024: New funding for my 5th project as principle investigator. Allow me to conduct research in a new direction.
    • Feb 22, 2024: Invited as reviewer for Nature Comm.
    • Jul 03, 2023: Senior Scientist I, IMRE, A*STAR.

    • April 26, 2019: New paper entitled 'Room temperature nanocavity laser with interlayer excitons in 2D heterostructures ' was published in Science Advances.

    2D Flat Lens

    This is the first 2D ferroelectric flat lens. I demonstrated electrical tunability > 34%.

    Optical measurement

    I build an optical setup with other colleagues, that is capable to measure the low-level birefringence. I created its 3D schematic image.
